Rapper DaBaby comes under public fire as he calls cops on his baby mama DaniLeigh , films her while feeding their child, and ultimately evicts her from the house.
Ever controversial American rapper, Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, popularly known as DaBaby, is making headlines again as he falls out with his girlfriend and baby mama DaniLeigh. He went on an Instagram Live stream on Sunday night and was seen recording his partner as she fed their three-month-old baby while he asked her to leave his property. The two hurled hurtful words at each other as they engaged in a heated argument, the cause of which remains unclear.
Public statements
Both of them have since gone to their respective Instagram pages to share videos and statements concerning the altercation with the public. As seen in one of Dani’s Instagram live sessions, the authorities had arrived at the apartment to see that she had moved out. In a lengthy statement posted by DaBaby, he explained his side of the story, in not too clear terms, saying:
“Based on my reputation, with multiple threats of setting up an internet scheme & a person refusing to not let me go. Me and somebody else here knew to record her. I don’t beat on and yelled at and chased around like one of them fatal love attraction type girls.”
He further claimed that Dani had put up hostile behavior from which he wanted to “swiftly remove” himself and that he won’t be pressing charges.
In response to this, Dani shared a statement of her own, claiming the rapper’s grudge stemmed from her having emergency contraceptives delivered to her.
“Since Baby want put up a “statement” with his cap a*s, I’ll put mine up … so we have been living with each other for the past three months since our baby been born. Tonight he wanna come in the room talking bout ‘I need to go’ don’t matter where I go…mind u…I have a newborn child,” she wrote. “This man is mad because I had a plan B sent to his condo.”
Feuds and misunderstandings are not uncommon in relationships, but when it involves celebs, they become news. Even worse is the careless washing of dirty linens in the open, characteristic of the internet age. While DaBaby and DaniLeigh’s fight being televised on the internet may be a little over the top, theirs is not the first celebrity couple fight to be caught on camera.
