She died of an accidental drug overdose.
Félicité Tomlinson, sister of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson died from an accidental drug overdose, according to an autopsy report by coroner Shirley Radcliffe.
Félicité was pronounced dead on March 13, 2019. At the time the BBC reported that Félicité died at her flat in West London after police were called to her residence following reports of a woman in cardiac arrest.
Prior to her death, Félicité was an aspiring fashion designer and an Instagram influencer. At the time of death, she was thought to have died of an apparent but an autopsy report indicates her death was a result of overdosing on banned substance. The 18-year-old had a cocktail of cocaine, Xanax and OxyContin in her system, according to the BBC.
Coroner Shirley Radcliffe described the combination as “the perfect storm” per the BBC.
An inquest was told Félicité had a history of “recreational drug use over the years,” which worsened after the death of her mother’s death in 2016. The BBC report said she was persuaded to complete a successful stint at an Egyptian rehab facility in Autumn 2018 but reportedly relapsed in 2019.
