The COVID-19 pandemic infection, which is popularly known as Coronavirus recently surpassed the 1000 mark on Friday in Nigeria.
Now, 87 new cases of the pandemic have been recorded, taking the total number to 1,182.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed that the 87 new cases in nine states of the federation.
The NCDC said on its Twitter handle that 33 of the new infections were recorded in Lagos, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, 9 in Katsina, 4 in Kano and Ekiti respectively, 3 in Edo and Bauchi respectively, and 1 in Imo.
