Nigerian actress Susan Peters has taken to her Instagram page to write a precautionary open letter to fans and family concerning the present Coronavirus lockdown.
The President imposed a lockdown on Lagos, Ogun and FCT due to the persistent rise of the COVID-19 pandemic in these states.
According to the actress, everyone should try to move around while staying at home as not doing so can lead to another serious ailment called Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT), which in layman’s language means blood clots on the legs.
Apparently, the disease is caused by sitting too long in one place without movement.
“Dear family, friends, colleagues, friends,” writes Susan peters on her Instagram page.
“Friends working in a London hospital have informed us that people are being brought to the hospital for developing DVT, Deep Venous Thrombosis (blood clots on the legs) and they are dying of this disease as well,” the post continues.
