#Coronavirus: Governor Seyi Makinde defeats COVID-19 pandemic; tests negative

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State who tested positive for the coronavirus, known as COVID-19 pandemic and went into self-isolation has now tested negative twice for the virus and has been discharged.

Makinde had tested positive for Coronavirus on 30 March 2020.

However, Makinde, in a tweet late night Sunday, 5th March 2020, tweeted that he has tested negative twice. He also appreciated the prayers and support of people during the trying time for him.

I am deeply moved by your prayers and support throughout this period. I am so thankful. This evening, I received my second negative test result for COVID-19,” Governor Seyi Makinde tweets.
