The actor won the category for the best actor in a musical/comedy film for his portrayal of the former US vice president, Dick Cheney, in the movie, Vice.
Christian surprised the audience when he thanked Satan for giving him the inspiration to play the role properly. He said: “Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration for playing this role.”
In the movie, Christian played the role of the unmerciful mastermind behind George W Bush’s presidency.
