Chris Brown under investigation for alleged rape

There are signs that the pop star has a major case to answer to in France as he is under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a lady.

As reported by French magazine, CLOSER, Brown is under scrutiny for allegedly raping a lady at the beginning of January 2019. According to the magazine, a 24-year-old woman said Brown assaulted her the evening of 15th /16th January, 2019.

The lady reported to the police asserting that Brown invited her to his lodging at Le Mandarin Oriental alongside another lady. In her declaration, she alleges that she wound up alone with Chris Brown where she says she was raped.

She also alleged that she was abused by the singer’s bodyguard and friend. Chris Brown is yet to release a statement.

He has been arrested by the police in Paris. He was arrested along with his bodyguard and a friend. The police have them in custody while they conduct their investigation.

According to Daily Mail, the prosecutors have the option of releasing Brown and his associates or opening a criminal investigation.
