Child Rights International petition Ghanaian police to probe Akuapem Poloo's nude picture [photo]

It appears that the problems of Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo AKA Rosemond Alade Brown are not over. 

Child Rights International has petitioned the Inspector-General in Ghana to probe the actress’ recent nude picture with her seven-year-old son.

On Tuesday, 30 June, the actress shared a nude picture of herself and her son on Instagram to celebrate his birthday. She justified that by saying that she decided to do so because she gave birth to him naked.

After sharing the post, she received a lot of backlash on social media which caused her to share an apology video.

Now, a human rights group has called for a probe into the situation surrounding her and her son. The group described her act as a “violation of the welfare principle of the Children’s Act and abuse of the child’s right to privacy and dignity.”
