“Cheating is not even having sex with a woman that is not your wife” – Nollywood Actor Ik Ogbonna

There seems to be a new trend on social to get really noticed, both celebrities and the wannabe celebrities have been hooked on!

 

It’s like this, make a controversial statement, relax, and watch it go viral.

Like that time a South African lady attacked slay queens on Twitter with a one-dimensional statement: “When a girl has beauty without brains, the private part suffers the most”

Or when one Nigerian Twitter user came up with a “real woman will cook for you, your boys and for the dog too. No story!”

 

And joining the bandwagon is Nollywood actor Ik Ogbonna who in a recent interview shared his one-dimensional opinion on cheating and relationships, and no one is having it really. According to the married actor, cheating in his alternative universe is cheating only when there is an emotional attachment. Hear him:

“Cheating is not even having sex with a woman that is not your wife, that is one mistake most people make

“Cheating is when you start developing feelings for the person

“Now let me explain myself if a man has sex with a woman for 30mins and he is done and dusted and moves on with his life

“That ceases to exist the second it ended. You only just broke your marital vows, that’s not cheating.

“Now Cheating is when you start sharing the 100 percent of you with someone else

“Now, I’m not just talking about sex, I’m talking about giving that person chatting time, I miss you baby, I miss you honey, when can we see again, planning trips etc”

 

You remember that saying that goes like this: “It’s better to let someone think you are an Idiot than to open your mouth and prove it“? That was exactly what Ogbonna’s statement reminded us.
