Charles Okpaleke, the brain behind the remake of a number of Nollywood classic movies has revealed more exciting news!

The multi-award-winning Nollywood movie, Living in Bondage: Breaking Free is getting a sequel, Charles Okpaleke has announced.

In an Instagram post, Okpaleke shared the amazing news, writing that the highly anticipated sequel alongside other anticipated remakes, ‘Osuofia Goes To Miami’ and ‘Glamour Girls’ will be released in 2021.

“Its official guys,” he wrote. “You would be getting a living in bondage; breaking free sequel!!

“I actually can’t stop!!!! Nollywood we’ve come to stay”

Set 25 years after the original story, the sequel written by Nicole Asinugo follows the story of Nnamdi Okeke (JideKene Achufusi), the son of Andy Okeke (Kenneth Okonkwo).

Nnamdi’s quest for success makes him prey to the Brotherhood of the Six led by Richard Williams (Ramsey Nouah), an enigmatic billionaire.

The film reportedly grossed 168.7 million at the box office, making it one of the highest-grossing movies in Nigeria.
