The movie, which is Lee’s next film after Oscar-nominated BlacKkKlansman, is about Vietnam veterans who return to the jungle to look for their lost innocence.
Lee penned the script with his BlacKkKlansman co-scribe Kevin Willmott based on an original screenplay by Danny Bilson & Paul DeMeo and rewrite by Matthew Billingsly. The film will be produced by Beatriz Levin, Lloyd Levin, Jon Kilik and Lee.
Boseman is also an Oscar hopeful this year, starring in Best Picture nominee Black Panther. His most recent movie to be is STX’s action thriller 17 Bridges which will be in theatres on 12th July.
