The 23-million dollar music-filled film about the life of the iconic singer has been approved by Celine herself. She has even given the makers of the rights to use her music in the biopic.
The film will be directed by Valerie Lemercier, who will also star as Dion. It follows Dion’s life from childhood to her rise to stardom. Shooting will begin in France for eight weeks in March. The Power of Love is expected to out on 2 December in France.
