Following multiple reports that Nollywood actress Lilian Esoro and Triple MG owner, Ubi Franklin, have allegedly been denied divorce by a Federal High Court sitting in Ikeja, Nigerians, predictably, have turned the alleged judgment into Twitter memes.
Reports, as seen behind the viral trend on Twitter on Tuesday, cites that the court stated the estranged couple’s request for divorce lacks solid grounds as to be taken seriously and advised them to go and work on their marriage. The judge is also said to have adjudged the grounds for the divorce given by the couple as “invalid.”
Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro tied the knot in an elaborate wedding in November 2015 but the marriage crashed one year after for alleged infidelity reasons. They share a son, almost-three-year-old Jayden, born 19 July 2016.
