Unai Emery has shown no signs of wanting to replace Petr Cech as first choice keeper of Arsenal.
Following the Gunners’ 2-0 loss to City over the weekend, many suspect that Emery may want to reconsider who stands between his goal more frequently.
Cech’s performance with the ball at his feet was not very impressive, although the veteran goalie’s errors did not directly lead to any of the goals.
Leno, a £20million summer arrival from Bayer Leverkusen is available to replace Cech but Emery does not seem to be considering the 26-year-old as first choice.

Here’s what the Arsenal boss said after the loss: “Leno is starting with us, he is working very well and played very good in pre-season. He can wait [for] his moment,’ said the Arsenal boss.
“Petr Cech is doing very good. Today he played good also. He has experience of defending our goal.”
