Cameroon was stripped of hosting rights for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) games and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is now in search of a new location.

CAF has offered the South African Football Association (SAFA) hosting rights to the 2019 AFCON.

SAFA president Danny Jordaan confirmed the news to Goal, and shared that their current financial situation may not be able to allow them to host the tournament.
