Burna Boy to headline Felabration 2019

Burna Boy will be the star of this year’s Felabration 2019, organisers have said.

Felabration is an annual music festival that celebrates the life of late Nigeria’s Afrobeat king, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

The festival, first organised in 1998, was conceived by one of Fela’s sons, Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti in memory of his father. This year’s festival will take place from 14th to 20th October 2019 at the New African Shrine, Ikeja, Lagos.

Organisers of the event say more than 400 Nigerian and foreign artistes registered to perform at the event.

In addition to Burna Boy, Omawunmi is also confirmed to perform.
