The self-acclaimed African Giant in the music world, Burna Boy, who seemed to have been laying low for a while has been angered out of his shell.
Apparently, songwriter Ceeza Milli claims he wrote Burna Boy’s On The Low and this angered the musician as he took to his Twitter account to respond to the songwriter.
On The Low is one of Burna Boy’s most successful singles of 2019. The song even went Gold in France for having been streamed 15 million times. So, we can see why the self-appointed African Giant may be annoyed by the claim.
According to Burna Boy, Ceeza’s claims were false and he had never had any help writing his songs except one time with Peruzzi.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Burna Boy tweets “I asked this spineless liar if he said this shit. And he said ‘No, never, I never said that. @ceezamilli just pray that Coronavirus catches you before I do cuz you know what it is when I catch you.'”
This reaction from Burna Boy sparked a number of reactions from fans and non-fans and one of them got to the singer, asking him to apologise for what he said.
The fan tweets: “God forbid anything happens to that boy. See verified evidence. How do you, in all your wisdom and grandeur, issue a threat like this in broad day Twitter? Common man @burnaboy, you’re bigger than all of this. Really!”
In response to the Tweet from the fan, Burna Boy apologised for his outburst but still stated that the songwriter definitely deserved “a few slaps” for his claims.
Taking to his Twitter account, Burna tweets: “Your right bro. I overreacted there. But he definitely deserves a few Slaps for that though. Regardless, my apologies to everyone for overreacting. It wasn’t called for.”
