Brooklyn street to be renamed after late rapper Notorious B.I.G

The street is set to be renamed Christopher Wallace way after the rapper’s legal name.

The dedication is now expected to be approved by Mayor Bill De Blasio and the City Council.

LeRoy McCarthy, who started the initiative said ‘“Honoring Biggie symbolizes more than just one man, It symbolizes a culture. It symbolizes a borough. It symbolizes a people, and hip-hop is worldwide.”
