According to USA Today, Bill’s lawyers have filed an appeal against the sexual assault conviction of 3 – 10 years in a state prison meted out to the 81-year-old comedian.
The appeal argues that there were multiple alleged errors in Cosby’s criminal trial and that the judge was mistaken in declaring Cosby a sexually violent predator.
The appeal also argued that the judge shouldn’t have considered the testimony of five other women who accused Cosby of sexual assault. His lawyers believe the judge should have allowed only those testimonies that spoke directly to the case.
