Beyonce's 'Formation' Tour Hat nets $27,500 for charity; Pharrel also raised money

More so one of the most iconic of them all, the Formation Tour Hat! For one lucky (and rich) bidder, that was a dream come true.

It was reported per TMZ that Beyonce donated the black wide-brim hat she wore during the 2016 Formation World Tour to a Heritage Auction to help raise money for the Lung Transplant Project - a non-profit that raises money and awareness to reduce the waiting list time for transplants. Analysts projected that it would fetch between $1,000 to $2,000, but unsurprisingly, the piece of history sold for $27,500! beyonce is said to also have signed the inside of memorabilia with “All my love -Beyoncé’.

Beyonce wasn’t the only one feeling charitable. It was also reported that  “Happy” singer, Pharell donated two pairs of Adidas Originals - one signed by Pharrell, the other to be customized by the winning bidder netting additional $11,375 for the charity.
