It’s glory to glory for Africa‘s pop-star sensation, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun best known as Wizkid as he took home the statue for Best International Act – Africa. at the just concluded BET Awards 2017. The star saw off challenges from seven other nominees to clinch the award on Sunday night at Los Angeles Microsoft Theater venue of the event.
Of the eight nominees in this category, four were Nigerian artists (winner Wizkid, Tecno, Mr Easi and Davido). Three South Africa artists (Aka, Nasty C. and Babes Wodumo) and a solo representative from Ghana (Stonebwoy) completed the list of nominees.
