For a dry or drying mascara, boil a kettle of water and pour the hot water into a cup. Place your dried out mascara into the hot water. The hot water will loosen the consistency after about 5 minutes.
Another option is to remove the wand from your mascara and add a drop or 2 of your contact lens solution (saline), replace the wand and give it a little wiggle to mix the solution in. Try the consistency on the back of your hand, if it’s still a little dry, then add a drop or two more. The trick is to add little drops of saline at a time, adding too much can make your mascara too runny.
The above tips are a quick-fix solution and will need to be repeated every time you want to apply the eye makeup.
