While the temptation may be great to wash your face several times a day – especially if you have oily skin – you should not give in. If you wash your face more than twice a day or use a harsh cleanser, you can damage the natural lipid barrier, the protective mantle of lubrication that keeps the skin looking and feeling healthy.
Once that protection is lost, your skin starts to crack, peel, itch, burn or sting and these could result to you looking older than your years.
