BBNaija Ozo bags brand manager deal with Juventus football club

Ozoemena Chukwu, or Ozo as he is popularly known, has bagged a deal with Italian football giant, Juventus as a brand manager.

Ozo who was one of the housemates in the Big Brother Naija season 5 show announced getting a job with Juventus, the Italian club fondly called “The Old Ladies”.

In a tweet announcing the deal, Ozo said:

I’m pleased to announce my new role as the brand manager of Juventus Academy in Nigeria(@JAcademyNigeria).

The deal will see Ozo resume as the brand manager of Juventus Academy in Nigeria. The ex-BBNaija contestant became popular for two things during his stay on the show; pining over fellow housemate, Nengi, and speaking passionately about football.

Even before he came on the show, Ozo held many positions relating to football. Most prominent among these was working with the UEFA body for a short while.

Ozo’s announcement has been a source of celebration among his fans as they have been waiting for him to announce something big since he left the BBNaija House. Although he announced a short stint with SLOT in September 2020.

While Ozo has not come forward with details of what his job as brand manager for Juventus Academy in Nigeria entails, here are a few things that brand managers generally do.

A Brand Manager is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for a company’s target market. They maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications, and may manage a portfolio of products.
