TIME recently released its inaugural TIME 100 Next list, which spotlights 100 rising stars who are shaping the future of business, entertainment, sports, politics, science, health and more.
Two Nigerians made the list – Oluwaseun Ayodeji Osowobi, and Dora Akunyili’s daughter, Njideka Akunyili-Crosby.
Oluwaseun, who is a rape survivor herself, founded the Stand to End rape initiative (STER), which has provided help to around 200,000 sexual assault survivors throughout the country.
Following the announcement, Osowobi received an outpouring of congratulations, especially from the Obama Foundation, which Osowobi was a part of as an Obama Leader.
