Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Uchenna Kanu make 10-woman shortlist for African Women's player of the year

As the men’s list was released, so was the women’s and we have our 10-woman shortlist for this prestigious prize.

A 30-man shortlist was released for the highly coveted CAF African men’s player of the year award. Among them were three Nigerians: Wildred Ndidi, Odion Ighalo, and Victor Osimhen.

Super Falcons of Nigeria players, Asisat Oshola, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Uchenna Kanu have made the ten-woman shortlist for the CAF African Women’s player of the year award.

Alongside the Nigerian footballers are South Africa’s Christen Thembi Ngatlana and Refiloe Jane, Ghana’s Elizabeth Addo, among others.

Asisat Oshoala, who has won the award three times, including last year, is favourite to win it against this year.
