Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead” holds the record of the single biggest first-day debut on Netflix and longest streak record. FlixPatrol, a media outlet that provides VOD charts and streaming ratings worldwide, made this revelation recently.

No Netflix film has seen more viewers than it on its first day since March 2020, when FlixPatrol began collating numbers. It also surpassed the streaming streak previously held by “Enola Holmes”.

However, it appears that viewers have had enough of the zombie horror flick as it has taken second place on the blog’s popularity poll. Yet, it has had an amazing run.

It has the best theatrical outing for a Netflix film and made $780,000 in its opening at about 430–600 cinemas. In 10 days, it managed to gross more than $1 million. These numbers disappointed the makers as they had projected an earning of between $1.5 million and $2 million.

On the critical end, it has gotten mostly positive reviews on notable review aggregators such as Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, and PostTrak. You may also like to read our Spoiler-free Army of the Dead review: Netflix hits gold with Zack Snyder zombie blockbuster.
