Former Juventus player Angelo Di Livio believes is more optimistic than ever about the Bianconeri’s UEFA Champions League title race this season.
He believes that the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo and the re-addition of Leonardo Bonucci to the team is clear indication that Juventus intend to lift the Champions League trophy this season.
“This really could be the right year,” Di Livio told Corriere di Torino.
“[Cristiano] Ronaldo is an added value and bringing back [Leo] Bonucci makes it clear that they want to lift the trophy.

“An opponent to be avoided right away is Liverpool, a dangerous team in great condition.”
Juventus have failed to win the title since 1996 despite reaching the finals in both 2015 and 2017.
