The 6th annual African Magic Viewers Choice Award is arguably the most renowned movie awards in Africa.

The event which was televised live on Africa Magic channels saw the industry’s finest across Africa strut the red carpets and winners emerge from all categories.

Some of the biggest winners for the night include movies like 18 Hours, Tatu, Isoken and Alter Ego.

  1. Best Overall Movie – 18 Hours (Pheobe Ruguru)

  2. Best Actress – Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde (Alter Ego)

  3. Best Actor – Adjetey Anang (Keteke)

  4. Best Actress in a Comedy – Nyce Wanjeri (Auntie Boss)

  5. Best Actor in a Comedy – Odunlade Adekola (A Million Baby)

  6. Best Writer – Patrick Nnamani/ Koye O/ Moses Inwang (Alter Ego)

  7. Best Supporting Actress – Lydia Forson (Isoken)

  8. Best Supporting Actor – Falz (New Money)

  9. Industry Merit Award – Tunde Kelani

  10. Trail Blazer Award – Bisola Aiyeola
