He made the announcement on his Instagram page where he said he had wanted to make one for almost 12 years. He shared a video to his Instagram page where he said: “Y’all remember maybe 10, 12 years ago I said my dream was to make a gay superhero film? Dreams do come true. And I found my superhero. America, world, get ready.”
He also introduced the lead actor, a man who is famous in social media for creating a gay superhero called SuperB*tch who dresses up in a silver top and thigh high pink boots and beats up homophobes and other villains.
He captioned the video: “10 years ago folks thought I was crazy when I said I wanted to make a gay superhero flick…. it’s not my next one… but it’s in the pipeline.”
