Allegri confirms Douglas Costa will be fined for spitting at an opponent

Douglas Costa showed just how much of a hot head he is during Juventus Serie A clash against Sassuolo.

It started with an elbow and then an attempt to headbutt his opponent Federico Di Francesco before finally spitting at his face.

His actions led to a red card upon VAR review, but a red card is certainly not enough for such unacceptable behaviour.

Costa is now looking at a minimum ban of three matches and his coach also expects that he will be fined for his atrocities.

Allegri told reporters“it’s only right that he is fined, and he certainly will be

“I was surprised by his reaction. We have suffered a goal, a red card and a suspension which will be long.”

Interestingly enough the match against Sassuolo also happens to be the one in which RRonaldo opened his goal scoring for Juventus with a brace.
