Another success for Alter Ego  as the movie wins the coveted ‘Special Jury Award for Outstanding Film’ at this year’s AFRIFF 2017

The award was received on behalf of the production company by the star of the movie, actress and UN ambassador Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde during the AFRIFF Globe Awards to mark the end of the week-long event film festival in Lagos.

The award comes after Omotola emerged as Best Actress at the recently concluded Nollywood Travel Film Festival in Toronto for her portrayal of Ada Igwe in Alter Ego. In an interview earlier this year, the award-winning actress explained to Glam Africa that she had taken the role because of the positive social message that the movie tells and as a means of raising awareness for depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PSTD).

Alter Ego was directed by Moses Inwang, and Sidomex Universal is an executive producer for the movie.
