On Saturday, July 28, 2018, the Checkmate star took to her Twitter handle to bare her mind on the recent wave which has seen Nigerian banks and other corporate organizations bankrolling elaborate red carpet premieres for Hollywood movies like Black Panther and Ocean 8 in 2018 alone.
The actress, who joins Richard Mofe Damijo on TV sitcom, Mr X Family Show, also pointed out that the premieres generates no notice or interest from Hollywood or the producers of the movie.
“Just wondering why some Nigerian banks and corporate organisations sponsor premieres of foreign films.”
“No notice or interest from Hollywood or the producers of those films, no appearance by the stars nada,” she wrote.
