The Actors Guild of Nigeria bestowed the honour on him on Wednesday, 17th of October in Lagos. The event comes only a few weeks after his mother’s burial in Lagos, Nigeria.
“In recognition of your excellent service, dedication and commitment to the development of the Nigerian Movie Industry,” the honour plaque reads.
The plaque was signed by the secretary of the actors’ body, Jude Orhorha, and chairman of the Lagos chapter, Don Pedro Aganbi. It was dated Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
