Today, the singer has shared a snippet of the movie, where she is seen advising a young man – Jaiye – who is trying to make a career choice, there, Simi reveals that she wants to be a singer, but is hindered by many other things.
Mokalik will follow the life of 11-year-old Jaiye, who is sent by his parents to work at a mechanic workshop. Simi will be playing the daughter of one of the two canteen owners in the film, whom Jaiye develops a crush on.
Kunle Afolayan is no stranger to his filmmaking in Nigeria, he is one of the best filmmakers in the industry. His most recent film, The Bridge, saw Chidinma launch her acting career, and now he is doing the same for Simi in Mokalik.
