Super Eagle players arrive Uyo ahead of world Cup qualifier match against Lions of Cameroon [Photos]

Twenty-t Super Eagles players have arrived in Uyo ahead of Friday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

 

Players who have arrived in camp are skipper Mikel Obi, Daniel Akpeyi, Dele Alampasu, Ola Aina, Mikel Agu, Ahmed Musa, Ogenyi Onazi, Odion Ighalo, Tyronne Ebuehi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Elderson Echiejile, William Troost-Ekong, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, Chidozie Awaziem and Ikechuckwu Ezenwa?.

While others are Victor Moses, Moses Simon, Leon Balogun, Uche Agbo, Aaron Samuel, John Ogu and Anthony Nwakaeme.

Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi will miss both legs of the qualifiers due to injury.

Nigeria will host Cameroon, the reigning African champions at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Friday before flying to Yaounde for a return leg on Monday.

The Super Eagles are drawn in Group B for the qualifying matches of the 2018 World Cup. They sit atop of the group with six points after winning their first two matches Zambia and Algeria. The Indomitable Lions are second placed with only two points following 1-1 draws with Algeria and Zambia.
