Eucharia Anunobi confirms death of her only child Raymond

Nigerians woke up to the news that one the country’s brightest film stars Eucharia Anunobi had lost her teenage son to the cold hands of death.
Raymond, the only child of the actress had reportedly died on Tuesday.
Now, NET has reportedly reached out to the grieving mother whose son passed away. According to the news outlet, the former actress, now an evangelist, confirmed the news to their correspondent:
“Thank you, I appreciate it. My son has gone to our place of origin (heaven) to be with our daddy Jesus, waiting for me when I eventually go there at the fullness of time.”
The outlet noted that Ms Anunobi did not betray any emotion as she spoke with their correspondent, even as the latter’s voice cracked when they talked about Raymond’s battles with sickle cell anaemia and eventual death at the age of 15.
