Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates first goal against APOEL

Tottenham kept up their impressive showing in the campaign as they came from behind to compound Dortmund’s woes with a 2-1 victory and Liverpool let go a 3-0 first half lead to succumb to another draw against Sevilla but have managed to secure a spot in the last 16. Ronaldo however made it 8 goals in 5 matches this season as Real Madrid condemned APOEL to a 6-0 thrashing and Benzema likewise got a brace too. Manchester City had to settle for a late goal to see off a tough Feyenoord outfit but the 1-0 means the English club are on the verge of making it out of the group stages without dropping a single point. Napoli are fighting for the second position with a 3-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk who are looking for just a point to qualify. RB Leipzig recorded an outstanding 4-1 win away at Monaco as they seem to be finding their feet in the competition.
