Fidelity Bank To Help 300 Youths Become Skilled.

The Fidelity Bank Plc have joined hands with Empretec Nigerian Foundation in Abuja to help 300 youths become entrepreneurs with the adequate skills ready to make a business.

 

Nnamdi Okonkwo who serves as the bank’s Managing Director said that the initiative was in support of the entrepreneurship aid intervention for state governments. He also mentioned that it will go a long way in propelling youths forward in this competitive business world, assuring everyone that the bank will provide for all that was needed to complete the training has it going on in Lagos and Calabar. The selection of youths was carried out by a team of specialists assigned by the bank and the choices were made through ‘meticulous processes’.

The Empretec Nigerian Foundation is the brainchild of the capacity-building programmes of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

 

The head of Business and Strategy of the Foundation, Bright Osakwe, said that the foundation has so far trained as much as 3,000 Nigerians to reach the goal of starting up their own businesses.
