Following the release of Good To Me featuring Seinabo Sey, Jacob releases another hypnotic single titled Slow Up. Produced by Malay, Slow Up is a thought-provoking song, about living in the moment, the song finds Jacob singing about not being in a hurry to go through life. On the track, which Banks says brought him a lot of healing, he reiterates the need to be patient and take everything life throws at you in stride.
Jacob is working on is debut album – Village – which is set to drop on 2 November and according to Banks. the album is about “celebrating the things that make us who we are, the good, the bad and the questionable.” Considering how great all his singles have been, we expect nothing short of the best.
