All the things that American rapper Cardi B has achieved this year, and she’s not done!

Even since her hit single, Bodak Yellow, dropped in June 2017, Cardi B has continued to make and break records. The rapper, who has had a lot of drama this year including throwing her shoe at music legend Nicki Minaj at New York Fashion Week, is here to stay and we have proof.

Cardi is unapologetic about herself as she makes no attempts to hide her roots which is what has earned her most of her fans.

Here are all the fabulous things she has been up to this year.

1. She’s top of the Billboard chart

Her breakout single debuted at number one on the Billboard chart and maintained the position for three weeks. Considering the fact that major musicians like One Direction and Backstreet Boys have never had a number one Billboard single, this is a big deal.

2. She got married and had a baby.

Cardi B didn’t waste time at all after she got married to Migos’ Offset in a secret ceremony, which took place in September last year. She got pregnant and had her baby girl, Kulture Kiari Cephus who was spotted on the balcony of a hotel in California recently while proud mama Cardi took pictures!

3. Her debut album also debuted at number one on the Billboard chart.

It spent twenty-four weeks on the chart. Go Cardi!

4. She has received a slew of music nominations.

These include two Grammy Awards, eight Billboard Music Awards—including one win—and 12 MTV Video Music Awards. Her hit singles I Like It, Girls Like You and Bodak Yellow have clearly done very well for her.

5. She has made a TIME’s top 100 list.

She has been named as one of TIME magazine’s top 100 most influential people.

Cardi has earned all of these and more, just by being herself. Like she said in her MTV VMA acceptance speech, “I want to thank all my fans, my family that supported me. All the love that my fans, that my friends, that everybody shows me—it’s genuine, it’s beautiful and that’s something that God gives me that you can’t buy, b---h.”
