Watch Dolce & Gabbana apology to China

Dolce & Gabbana fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have issued an apology for their ‘racist’ promotion video.

Recall that the brand unveiled a short video to promote its fashion show in China which was tagged racist, private messages allegedly from Gabbana calling Chinese “Ignorant dirty smelling mafia” also surfaced online, although the brand issued a statement stating that Gabbana’s Instagram account was hacked.

Amidst the backlash, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have issued a video, apologising to China, stating their love for Chinese culture.

We have always been in love with China,” Dolce said in Italian in a video uploaded to Chinese social-media site Weibo. “We love your culture and we certainly have much to learn. That is why we are sorry if we made mistakes in the way we expressed ourselves.
