Top ten Nigerian songs of the week: Naira Marley’s “Coming” tops all charts

The latest offering by street Afrobeats singer Naira Marley titled “Coming” (featuring Busiswa) has emerged as the most popular song in Nigeria this week. It appears on Apple Music, Audiomack, and Boomplay top ten charts.

Gyakie’s “Forever (Remix)” with Omah Lay is also getting a lot of streaming numbers this week as well and appears across multiple charts too. First, let us see how the top ten Niaja music ranked on the Apple Music chart on 28 March 2021.

“Dimension” retains its #1 spot but “Coming” is closing in after going from #10 to #2 within a week. After close inspection, you can see that Apple Music chart has the same songs as last week with shuffling of positions as some dropped while others went up.

Meanwhile, on Audiomack songs like “Jafafa”, “KOLO” and “Pronto” left the chart with “Forever (Remix)”, “Hallelu”, and the trending “Coming” taking their place. See how they ranked below:

Boomplay’s top ten Nigeria songs chart also looks different from last week’s. For the first time, only one Omah Lay song appears on the list with Olamide getting two slots. Gyakie’s “Forever (Remix)  and its original version also featured on this week’s ranking. Burna Boy’s “Way Too Big” also sneaks into the chart at #10.
