Ghanian star Gyakie has apologised for her brash tweet defending the remix of her hit track “Forever” with Nigerian Afropop sensation Omah Lay. She tweeted:
Hi good afternoon, I apologize deeply to anyone that felt offended by my earlier tweet. Mey3 very sorry. Let's keep pushing Ghana music to the world.????

The singer and her colleague had faced criticism over the joint single which some believed is below par. In what now appears to be a moment of anger, she had written: “It’s not for everyone. Those who connect to it are the ones I made this for.”
Gyakie really didn’t need to even defend “Forever Remix” as it is already charting in the top ten daily charts of music platforms such as Apple Music, Audiomack, and Boomplay. Additionally, many of the criticism that the song faced was not directed at her but instead at Omah Lay, the guest artist.

Omah Lay didn't add anything extra to the forever remix.
