Selena Gomez denies dating rumours with Aaron Dominguez, says she is single

Selena Gomez has come out to address rumours that she is romantically involved with Aaron Dominguez, saying that they are just working together and that she is single at the moment.

The rumours had started after pictures of the two of them in a ‘cozy pose’ surfaced online. It turns out that it was from a shooting session for the series “Only Murders in the Building” in which they both star.

She set the record straight in an interview with Los Angeles Times. “We had just started working together,” the “Come & Get It” singer said. Gomez who turns 29 in July 2021 also commented on how she thinks her age is affecting her desirability.

“I honestly thought, ‘No wonder guys don’t want to date me!’ I think people only care because I’m young, and the older I get the less they’ll care. For now it’s a part of the job that I don’t really like,” she said.

Gomez further revealed that she was currently not ‘involved with anyone’, something she is grateful about because the rumours could have strained a real relationship. She had dated singers Nick Jonas, Justin Beiber, DJ Zedd, and she allegedly lived with The Weeknd for some time before they broke up.

“Only Murders in the Building” follows the lives of three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves caught up in one. It also stars Vanessa Aspillaga, Steve Martin, Jonathan Burke and others. Aaron Dominguez had also starred in Shaft (2019) and Words on Bathroom Walls (2020).
