ola Adefolahan, popularly called Fireboy or Fireboy DML, signed to Olamide’s YBNL, has officially declared his 2020 open with his debut single titled “New York City Girl”.
The single, produced by Type A, released on the 22nd of June 2020.
Olamide announced a few months ago about a new bumper deal with Empire, an American music publishing company, and his YBNL imprint, which involves the entire music group.
Fireboy, since the start of the year, has been pushing his Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps album as he has shot a few videos for songs on the album, which took the music scene by storm upon its release last year.
“New York City Girl” is a mid-tempo Afro-pop record that explains Fireboy’s crush on a particular girl. He hopes to convince her about his feelings before her short stay expires.
