Serie A leaders, AC Milan, were stopped by AS Roma from having a 100% record so far this season in Europe top five leagues.
The Rossoneri’s dropped their first points of the season despite a Zlatan Ibrahimovic double as defiant Roma came from behind three times to draw 3-3 at the San Siro on the night of Monday, 26 October 2020.
Ibrahimovic quickly handed AC Milan the lead in the second minute of the match before Edin Dzeko equalised for the visitors 12 minutes later.
Rafael Leao produced slick moves on the left to set up Alexis Saelemaekers, who put Milan back in front two minutes after the break but Roma hit back again in the 71st minute as a controversial penalty was awarded to them, which was converted by Jordan Veretout.
Milan regained the lead with a penalty of their own from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, his sixth league goal of the season having recovered from coronavirus earlier this month, but Marash Kumbulla equalised again for Roma with six minutes left.
