La Liga giants Real Madrid revealed in a statement on Friday that the club’s coach Zinedine Zidane has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The French coach was in isolation earlier this month after a positive test result of a close contact and did not attend a training session as a result.
Zidane despite being under pressure following Real’s shock cup exit at the hands of third division side Alcoyano earlier this week, will not be available for their La Liga match away at Alaves on Saturday with his assistant David Bettoni set to take charge.
