Movies exist to entertain and to educate people on conditions and situations on which they don’t have the required information.
One of these topics, which people have severely misunderstood is the topic of surrogacy, and that is the topic that is discussed in the movie ‘Mama Drama’.
‘Mama Drama’ tells the story of Mena and her surrogate mother Kemi, who both enter into an agreement to help birth Mena’s baby into the world, things don’t go quite as planned and now they both must make the hardest decision of their lives.
This movie was impacted negatively by the lockdown which was necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although ‘Mama Drama’ was premiered in March, it has staged a return to the cinema from 1 October as it was not screened following its premiere.
This movie stars Osas Ighodaro, Kehainde Bankole, Kunle Remi, Shaffy Bello, Kunle Remi, Femi Adebayo Salami, Opeyemi Aiyeola, Olive Emodi, and Rekiya Atta.
