Nigerian celebrities have lent their voice to the ongoing #EndSARS protests happening all over the country to demand a reformed Police force. 

Yvonne Orji, Uzo Aduba, Jidenna, Cynthia Erivo, Jackie Aina, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, and a host of other celebrities who are influential outside Nigeria also joined to call for an end to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

Many of these celebrities are well recognized abroad and are famously Nigerian.

Yvonne Orji is an award-winning comedian/actress in America who recently released a documentary with HBO tracing her Nigerian roots.

Uzo Aduba, who starred in Orange is the New Black, has won multiple awards and Cynthia Erivo is an English actress, singer and songwriter.

Erivo is the recipient of several accolades, including an Emmy Award, a Tony Award and a Grammy Award, and has been nominated for two Academy Awards.

Jidenna is a Nigerian-American singer while Jackie Aina is a Nigerian-American YouTube star.
